Shipping Disclaimer & Policy

Brick It operates an in-house logistics team to maintain greater control over deliveries and provide more shipping options across our service area. Our goal is to deliver your materials reliably and transparently, but we ask you to understand certain conditions and limitations.

Shipping Costs & Quotes

Shipping costs depend on weight, freight dimensions, distance, chosen shipping method, carrier, fuel surcharges, customs or duties (for international orders), and any additional delivery services. Our system provides real-time calculated quotes for your order. Always review your quote carefully before placing an order.

Delivery Methods & Equipment

We use a variety of delivery methods including parcel, LTL (less-than-truckload), and full truckload freight. For local regions, Brick It also maintains its own fleet (flatbed trailers, box trucks with liftgates, piggyback forklifts). We offer optional equipment (liftgate, truck-mounted forklift) and “limited access delivery” for sites with restricted entry (gated communities, schools, etc.).

Acceptance & Inspection at Delivery

When your shipment arrives, inspect all materials carefully before signing. Check quantities and inspect for damage or missing items. If you note any issues, document them on the delivery receipt and take photos immediately. Accept the shipment rather than refusing it, but make clear notes of problems. Prompt reporting is required to make a claim.

Damage, Shortage, or Discrepancies

If a shipment arrives damaged or short, Brick It will work to remedy the issue—typically by replacing materials. However, eligibility for replacements depends on proper documentation: delivery receipts, photographs, and timely reporting of the issue. We are not liable for damage that results from failure to inspect or report at delivery

Customer Responsibility

  • Provide accurate delivery address, site conditions, contact information, and any access constraints.
  • Be present (or arrange for a representative) at delivery to assist with unloading or direct driver placement.
  • Unpack, inspect, and store materials properly to allow drying or acclimation, especially for cut thin brick or reclaimed materials.
  • Understand that delivery estimates are preliminary. Delays may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or other factors beyond our control.

Limitations & Disclaimers

Brick It is not liable for delays, damages, or extra costs arising from incorrect information, site inaccessibility, weather, carrier acts, or force majeure events. Our liability is limited to replacement or refund of the product value (not including labor or indirect costs), as stated in our Disclaimer & Warranty policy.
