Brick It provides high-quality construction materials, including brick and thin brick veneer, manufactured and supplied in accordance with industry standards. Due to the natural and manufactured processes involved, variations and limitations must be understood before purchase. By ordering from our website, customers agree to the following:
1. Product Representation
All product images, descriptions, and specifications are provided for reference only. Variations in color, texture, dimensions, and finish may occur due to natural raw materials, manufacturing processes, and digital display differences. ASTM and CSA standards classify brick by performance, durability, and appearance, but individual units may vary within acceptable tolerances

2. Standards and Classifications
Brick It’s products are manufactured or sourced to meet applicable ASTM/CSA classifications, including:
- Facing Brick (ASTM C216) for applications where appearance is important.
- Building Brick (ASTM C62) for structural or backing uses where appearance is secondary.
- Thin Veneer Brick (ASTM C1088) for adhered veneer applications.
- Paving Brick (ASTM C902, C1272) for pedestrian or vehicular use.
Durability classifications (such as SW for severe weathering, MW for moderate, and NW for negligible exposure) are assigned based on physical properties like compressive strength, absorption, and freeze-thaw performance.

- Customers should confirm suitability for their intended exposure conditions.
3. Suitability of Use
It is the responsibility of the purchaser, architect, engineer, or contractor to determine the suitability of products for specific applications, local building codes, and environmental conditions. Brick It does not guarantee compliance with project specifications unless explicitly stated in writing.
4. Installation & Performance
Proper installation is critical. Brick It is not responsible for performance issues arising from improper handling, storage, or installation. Products must be installed in accordance with ASTM standards and industry best practices.
5. Variations and Tolerances
Brick may contain allowable variations in size, distortion, and chippage as defined by ASTM standards. Up to 5% of a shipment may contain broken or chipped units beyond specified limits, which is considered acceptable.
Efflorescence, a natural salt deposit sometimes visible on masonry, may occur and is not a defect.

6. Used and Reclaimed Brick
Reclaimed brick, also known as salvaged, antique, historic, or recovered brick, originates from dismantled or demolished buildings often 40 to 250 years old.
While valued for its aged character, irregular texture, and unique aesthetic, reclaimed brick does not meet current ASTM standards and may include partial, cracked, or fragile pieces.
Because each lot is limited and unique, we recommend ordering at least 10% more than required to account for natural waste and variations. Modular sizing is approximate, and a common bond pattern should be used to minimize loss. Reclaimed brick veneers are cut from original full brick using masonry wet saws, and may retain moisture at delivery. These products are custom cut to order, shipped immediately, and must be unpackaged and installed promptly to allow natural drying and acclimation. Variations in color, split bricks, partials, and surface wear are inherent and expected in this product category.
7. Thin Brick Cut From Full Brick
Certain thin brick products originate from full bed brick that are cut down to veneer thickness.
Due to this process, microscopic cracks may already exist from firing, and additional cracking can occur during cutting. Thin veneer recovery is never 100%, and fractured or partial pieces are included in shipments. These pieces are commonly used for cuts, infills, or to add character to the finished wall.
Cut thin brick is sold as full brick with an additional charge for cutting, and minimums or rounded quantities apply to match full brick requirements. Because masonry wet saws are used, some moisture may be present upon delivery. All cut thin brick is produced to order, shipped immediately, and must be unpackaged and installed promptly to allow proper drying and acclimation. Customers should expect natural variations, occasional cracking, and partial pieces as part of the product.
8. Warranty
Brick It siding panels are covered by a 20-year limited warranty for the original property owner or for as long as the original purchaser owns the property, whichever comes first.
BRICK IT WARRANTY
The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by faulty installation, structural movement, exposure to harmful materials, chemicals, salt spray, fire, natural disasters, vandalism, misuse, neglect, or lack of proper maintenance (including mortar joint upkeep). Normal weathering, efflorescence, mildew accumulation, and other conditions outside of Brick It’s control are excluded.
If a covered product is found defective within the warranty period, Brick It may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective material. Material replacement is prorated over the 20-year term, starting with 100% coverage in the first year and decreasing annually thereafter. Labor costs for repair or replacement are not included.
This warranty is not transferable and applies only to genuine Brick It products when installed as specified. To be valid, the warranty must be registered with Brick It within 15 days of installation. Claims must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time after discovery of a defect.
9. Liability Limitation
Brick It shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. Our responsibility is limited to replacement or refund of the purchased product as defined in our Return Policy.
10. Updates
Brick It reserves the right to revise this Disclaimer Policy at any time. Continued use of this website and purchase of our products implies acceptance of the most current version.
