Overview

Guard It Pro Is a fluid-applied air barrier, Class 1 vapor barrier and water-resistive barrier (WRB). It is suitable for use behind most exterior claddings including rainscreen, metal, wood, stone, brick, and masonry.

Technical Information

Uses

  • For use over the following substrates: Vertical above grade concrete or unit masonry, brick, untreated exposure I or exterior plywood sheathing (Grade C-D or better), OSB, Zip Sheathing (sheathing only) ASTM C 1177 glass mat gypsum sheathing, or cement board meeting ASTM C 1325 Type A Exterior Grade.
  • Do not use below grade or on surfaces subject to water immersion.
